SolarEpic 4215BN Solar Charge Controller 40A:

Built with advanced power tracking technology to optimize the working of your solar charger system. The controller features a smart tracking algorithm that maximizes the energy from the solar PV module(s) and charge the battery. It supports over four charging options: sealed, gel, flooded and user-defined. Battery parameters can be set using the attached MT50 remote meter.

MT50 Remote Meter:

Wide LED screen displays the real time operational data and the working status in digital, graphic and textual forms. Basically used for monitoring and setting the controller, it automatically identifies the type, model and relevant parameter data of solar controllers.

Battery Temperature Sensor and PC Communication Cable:

It is used to monitor each controller on the network using Solar Station PC software and update the firmware. Measures 3m and works great for Tracer BN/A series MPPT charge controller. The connectors are well made to secure the connection.

    The Tracer-BN series controller is for off-grid solar system and control the charging and discharging of the battery. The controller features a smart tracking algorithm that maximizes the energy from the solar PV module(s) and charge the battery. At the same time, the low voltage disconnect function (LVD) will prevent the battery from over discharging.

    The battery charging process has been optimized for long battery life and improved system performance.         Step Always connect the battery before connect the solar panel,disconnect in the reverse order.

        Step: Connect the system in the order of 1. battery--> 2. load-->3. PV array, and disconnect the system in the reverse order 3. 2. 1.

        • Battery must be connected first !!!
        • Never connect the soalr panel array to the controller Without / Before a Battery.
        • DO NOT connect any inverter/ wind/Alternator or Charger into the charge controller!
        • If the remote temperature sensor is not connected to the controller, the default setting for battery charging or discharging temperature is 25 °C without temperature compensation.
        • The wire size is only for reference. If there is a long distance between the PV array and the controller or between the controller and the battery, larger wires can be used to reduce the voltage drop and improve performance.
