It supports over four charging options: sealed, gel, flooded and user-defined. Battery parameters can be set using the attached MT50 remote meter.	MT50 Remote Meter: Wide LED screen displays the real time operational data and the working status in digital, graphic and textual forms. Basically used for monitoring and setting the controller, it automatically identifies the type, model and relevant parameter data of solar controllers. Warm tips：

Step: Connect the system in the order of 1.battery-->2. load-->3.PV array, and disconnect the system in the reverse order 3. 2. 1.

• NEVER connect the soalr panel array to the controller Without/Before a Battery.
• Battery must be connected FIRST !!!
• DO NOT connect any inverter/ wind/Alternator or Charger into the charge controller!
• If the remote temperature sensor is not connected to the controller,, the default setting for battery charging or discharging temperature is 25 °C without temperature compensation.
• The wire size is only for reference. If there is a long distance between the PV array and the controller or between the controller and the battery, larger wires can be used to reduce the voltage drop and improve performance.

The Tracer-BN series controller is for off-grid solar system and control the charging and discharging of the battery. The controller features a smart tracking algorithm that maximizes the energy from the solar PV module(s) and charge the battery. At the same time, the low voltage disconnect function (LVD) will prevent the battery from over discharging.

The battery charging process has been optimized for long battery life and improved system performance. Maximum Power Point Tracking Technology

Due to the nonlinear characteristics of solar array, there is a maximum energy output point (Max Power Point) on its curve. Traditional controllers, with switch charging technology and PWM charging technology, can’t charge the battery at the maximum power point, so can’t harvest the maximum energy available from PV array, but the solar charge controller with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Technology can lock on the point to harvest the maximum energy and deliver it to the battery

The MPPT algorithm of our company continuously compares and adjusts the operating points to attempt to locate the maximum power point of the array. The tracking process is fully automatic and does not need user adjustment.

As the Figure 1-2, the curve is also the characteristic curve of the array, the MPPT technology will ‘boost’ the battery charge current through tracking the MPP. Assuming 100% conversion efficiency of the solar system, in that way, the following formula is established:
