It can handle max 200V (Voc) at minimum temperature, and we recommend your Voc below 170V. The threshold is 180V (Voc) at 25 Celsius degree. Please make sure we are referring to the Voc (open circuit voltage), not V pmax.
4.Does this package include the temperature sensor?
Yes, absolutely it has temperature sensor included.
5.Why does the manual recommend 2 panels and why is 4 the max for 12v?
Hi, It's only for your reference, and we don't recommend you give that wide voltage difference between solar panel and battery, even it rated at 200V Voc, but we will recommend you place 100V or so for 12v battery system.
